 Music that makes you happy..
..So happy that you want to run through the walls of your apartment/house, spread your arms and fly. Picture it.
You're not satisfied, something is missing. The world is what it is today, it's rapidly changing and you can feel its disruption, leading you straight into desperation. You are still calm but deep inside of you something is growing, something you can't quite comprehend, and it's stirring the very core of who you truly are. Eyes focused on the floor until you take that breath that will define the true meaning of emotion, the strength of hope. (Pardon my english).
You'll have to visually imagine the rest of it because I have to go.
I'll start with: This Will Destroy You - I Believe In Your Victory This Will Destroy You - Happiness: We're In This Together
Cheers!
Ps. Hi.

stuff like sigur ros and the album leaf makes me feel like this sometimes because it's so beautiful. it can also have the opposite effect because it's so emotional

Almost every band that is amazing can make me happy because of their pure genius. To list all these bands would be a little too much.

Caspian - Moksha / Some Are White Light / Sea Lawn... puts a grin on my face and makes my heart race. Tracer AMC - Indiscopia 65daysofstatic - Retreat! Retreat! Mogwai - Golden Porsche... though it makes cry too (with joy)

Re: Music that makes you happy..
Before the thread is denied, I wanted to say kudos for choosing Happiness: We're In This Together. That is quite possibly their most joyous song.

Storm, Antennas to Heaven, Static (happy through a fascinated...fear), Kids will be Skeletons, Cuttooth, Speaking in Tongues (Eagles of Death Metal), I'm a Believer (YES), Flagpole Sitter (Harvey Danger), Lucky, Videotape, 15 Step, most of Radiohead tbh, Vaughn Williams, Glosoli, Stand Inside Your Love/Silverfuck (live)/most Smashing Pumpkins etc etc etc etc etc
The layered interlude in Some are White Light by Caspian also makes me go gooey. It's endless...warmth. It's awesome.

What kind of feeling do you get when you listen to Miaou – Anything Goes? Or even Sigur Ros, the last minutes of Glosoli?

ian wrote: if im caught out and tricked into listening to sigur ros then my emotion is anger. they enrage me. So, at least there’s emotion you felt from them. It’s proofing that you already ‘tricked into listening to them’. How about their earlier albums? Like Von for example...

I'd like to throw Battles in as a band that makes me happy whenever I listen to them.
