Thanks for the albums, boys. Proliteariots aren't that good.. It's redundant after two songs. Unfortunate because Staplemouth is incredible.
I've listened to Noah 23's "Quicksand" album and it's incredible. My new favorite artist! For the time being.

 Re: Indie-Rap
Sulfur Monsoon & The Rainbow Everafter - Nimbus (2007) Quote: Sulfur Monsoon & The Rainbow Everafter is a conceptual, temporal harmonization of wave-function and matter; potential and it’s realization; an elaborate story made of sound telling the tale of destruction and the beauty that follows…… …..an ever-unfolding, orchestral elaboration illuminating the exquisite duality existent in all…….and by means of this illusive edification the religious paradigms of our day, which are the greater ill that our current society is merely a symptom of, will break open: allowing room for a greater mystery, which is us, to become and continue becoming until the end of ideas…. …Sulfur Monsoon & The Rainbow Everafter is merely a packaging and means of delivery for one simple idea : ‘You are greater than you have ever conceived…and here’s the proof.’ …’Nimbus’ is the first offering toward this objective. It is novel, beautiful and intricately constructed…just like you……and also, just like you, it is packed with wave-fields and metaphors pointing to a grander existence than our minds and senses have been trained to perceive…yet.

 Re: Indie-Rap
Red Ants - Phobos Deimos (2005) Quote: The Red Ants duo of Modulok (MC) and Vincent Price (producer) have previously made a bit of noise separately under the names Mofo and Lovely, respectively, and have both put in work with Noah 23 and his Plague Language crew. However, they have come into their own together as Red Ants. Modulok isn’t merely boasting when he brags that “Modulok and Vincent Price got the baddest chemistry” on opening track “Cockroach Omen.” In fact, Phobos Deimos is an angry, fist pumping soundtrack to urban rebellion that seamlessly merges each artist’s area of expertise. Over the album’s ten tracks, Vincent Price comes through with a futuristic mix of frantic, fascist marches for Modulok to flex his goose step vocal flows. Presenting a dark, desolate present and an even bleaker future, Modulok rages against the machine that is authority, throwing up graffiti, stealing your girlfriend and serving “every runny-nose, thumb-sucking delinquent on the block” in the process. If you think life is a picnic, be warned that Red Ants have marched onto the scene with a nearly flawless debut designed to upset the festivities.
1 Cockroach Omen 2 Lot’s Wife 3 Symbiotic Killing Fields 4 Black Cloud 5 Two Bars 6 Asphalt Static 7 Boston Crab 8 Incendiary Devices 9 Blunt Objects 10 Future Imperfect Quote: http://rapidshare.com/files/150430913/red_ants_-_phobos_deimos.rar.html Red Ants - Omega Point (2008) Quote: “Omega Point” is meaner, scarier, and creepier than your typical hip hop album. While other rappers are trying to be gangsta, Modulok and Vincent Price are satisfied with being evil. Price’s beats are banging, intricate, and sinister, and they are perfectly complimented by Modulok’s booming rhymes. This is a duo to be reckoned with. You’ve been warned. Decidedly uncharacteristic of Canadian styles or trends, Red Ants are a harbinger of new sounds on the horizon, produced by artists whose eyes and ears seem to be focused on the realities of our great and fucked up nation, not on an appropriated image of Hip Hop. The skyline of a bombed out T-dot with vegetation overgrowing the bones and ruins is a fairly succinct statement of the outlook of Red Ants. Omega Point is a place and time, here and now, end and beginning… and the weak are definitely eaten !

Swordplay - The Tilt EP (2005) Quote: Underground hip hop fronted by a young intellectual MC. Some indie rock roots are apparent in the composition as Isaac Ramsey rhymes of the lifestyle of a young disillusioned urbanite. This is the debut EP of a young act that you are bound to hear more.
1. Tilt 2. 64 Bit 3. Martin the Warrior 4. 33 Revolutions 5. Sorry Ociffer Quote: http://rapidshare.com/files/150423210/swordplay_-_the_tilt_ep.rar.html Swordplay - Cellars And Addicts (2007) Quote: Swordplay’s first full-length release pushes urgently to revise the common definitions of rap music and is a startling response to 2005’s Tilt EP. Abstract lyricism delivered by way of vocal acrobatics, is supported by a mosaic of moody strings and jittery rhythms flirting between folk pop and boom bap. The imagery, laced with experience, provides a poetic retelling of Richmond’s oft grimy landscape, composed of young love, ordinary day jobs and dance parties gone awry. The result is a soundtrack in the first-person for the disillusioned 20 something who might have actually thought hip-hop was dead. Thirteen self-produced, heavy hitting tracks provide the firepower to make for a compelling record. The album features appearances by Richmond mainstays Murk One, Martinnealreamy and Homemade Knives.
1. Introduction To The House 2. Sellers and Attics 3. Cat Scan 4. Text Messages 5. Tracing Paper featuring martinnealreamy 6. Karmatically Challenged 7. Twenty Miles to Legoland 8. Fully produced by the UK’s Abstrakt, this album promises to engage the audience in the most intimate of settings. From yesterdays classics into tomorrows favorites, Input welcomes back the care free yet intuitive inner child that we have all mistakenly misplaced.

Input released his debut album “Elusive Candor” in 2006, which propelled him into the Denver Hip Hop scene in dramatic fashion. Touching upon his own personal trials and tribulations “Elusive Candor” made a bold statement as to the direction that Input wanted to drive his music. “A Radio With Guts” was his sophomore album and released in 2007 with a much different motive behind it. A deeper look into the life of loss, love, and insomnia created the foundation for “A Radio With Guts”. Input broadened his horizons and delivered a landmark album for his time. Now as the Fameless Entertainment family moves forward with their movement, Input created his new album “Pictureface” which is set to release June 24th, 2008 on Newcad Entertainment. This album promises to elevate the standards of this genre and electrify the listener in the most intimate of ways.

(n1nth)cloud - Sides (2008) Quote: Emcees and producers Grounded1 and Broken return for their follow up to last year’s Dos! After a lot of feedback and enough support behind their sound, Grounded1 has also taken his sing-song-y choruses to actual full lengths in entire songs. Trading production and rhyming duties, both artists have come far in their abilities to create something truly unique and sounding almost nothing like their last effort. Heavy on the head nod factor and featuring a guest appearance by Input and special production on “After Time” by Egadz. We have been strong supporters of N1nth Cloud and hope that you will also check out Broken’s recent solo instrumental album, Message In A Bottle!
1. Neon City 2. After Time 3. Out Of Tune (feat. Input) 4. Morning Glory 5. Lord Knows 6. Corner 7. Tastes Like 8. Gone Today 9. Bullets To Flowers 10. Reading Lines 11. Stolen Days 12. A Second Look Quote: http://rapidshare.com/files/149594414/_n1nth_cloud_-_sides_-_2008.rar.html Broken - Message In A Bottle (2008) Quote: One half of the group (n1nth)cloud out of Las Vegas, DJ and producer Broken follows up his 48hrs solo album with yet another amazing instrumental release! Message In A Bottle is beautifully composed of lush electronic sounds capes and samples, excellent drums and beat changes throughout each song with breathtaking symphonic build ups…it’s as if you’re listening to a soundtrack to a movie. Clearly his best work to date and hopefully the one that turns out many new fans. The highlight of this album is his haunting re-imagining of Nirvana’s “Heartshaped Box”, featuring the soothing vocals of singer Sophia, and replacing heavy guitar riffs with deep pianos chords. Sadistik - The Balancing Act (2008) Quote: The groundbreaking new artist Sadistik is quickly raising eyebrows with his debut solo album “The Balancing Act.” At only 22 years old he has developed a sound that is truly unique as he seamlessly blends his signature of deeply poetic lyrics with brooding, symphonic soundscapes filled with beauteous live instrumentation. In addition to his own innovative rhyming style, Sadistik collaborated with the likes of underground hip-hop icons Mac Lethal of Rhymesayers Entertainment and Vast Aire from the highly regarded duo of Cannibal Ox. Sadistik can be found doing shows around his home state of Washington performing his shockingly energetic live shows. While he writes all of his own music, his biggest inspirations range the musical spectrum from Sage Francis all the way to Radiohead. And although traces of these influences can be found in Sadistik’s music, one thing is for certain: he has created a sound that is truly his own.
