Post hip-hop from days past
I'm constantly discovering kick ass tracks from a few years ago. I don't know if they're really indie groups or mainstream, so i figured i'd throw em here for people to check out.

Just tracks? You're not discovering whole albums? Don't tell me you use limewire.

Hilltop Hoods - Nosebleed Section

Maybe a bit too recent but awesome nonetheless.

Seen him live with DJ Format twice and it's utterly incredible when you see it in the flesh.

When they do Vicious Battle Raps live he paraphrases all the lyrics but still makes it fit, mindblowing.

Is also good but I reccon that he works best with Format.

I absolutely love abdominal. Walk left stand right is amazing, as is The Hit Song.

He's one of the few hip hop artists except Jurassic 5, who I've bothered to see live and haven't been disappointed.
I'd guess being from Bristol you've seen him and Format before? They used to play there a fair bit if I remeber rightly.

Doh! If you get the chance do see them live.
They throw about 100 DJ Format frisbees out during the final song of the show (One of which is sat on my desk), it's utter carnage.

If I can find it I've got a disk of freestyles somewhere I got from Abdominal after one of the shows that I can upload if anyone wants it.
